bone. Alex has undergone chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant,
endured infections, and recently commenced a new treatment of
medications.

Ruth
Polick, who is suffering from complications following back surgery. She has
trouble walking without assistance; may need a second knee replacement;
and has chronic arthritis, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
For
Jim
Goodman, who is recovering from a severe stroke. He had a left-brain bleed,
which damaged all of the communication centers; he has difficulty
communicating orally and in writing, cannot read aloud, and cannot drive
a car.
For the complete
recovery of Preston Bennett, who was very badly burned in a house fire.
Special prayers go up for the health of his lungs, which were severely
damaged in the fire. He is 21 years old. He is at Brooks Army Hospital
Burn Center in San Antonio.
For a successful
fundraising campaign at the Immaculate Conception School in Fort Smith,

meningoencephalitis (PAM); 300 reported cases of this organism have
occurred in the world and 6 people have survived. Jack's brain is
abnormal now. The doctors continue to medicate him with antibiotics.
Divine Intervention is the medicine he needs now with God's Will. I pray
that you will pray the Divine Mercy and Rosary for Jack. We have a very

Lymphatics are still something of a mystery to the medical world. She's

We lift up this urgent and sincere prayer from Erin: “My
friend and one-time college roommate is battling brain cancer and has
been receiving chemo and radiation for nearly one year. Stacey is a
mother to two young children and a wife to Joey, they live in Atlanta. She just found out that she is 18 weeks pregnant. She became pregnant
during her chemo and radiation and therefore, the baby has been exposed
to these chemicals from day one. She has opted to take a 10-week break
from her treatment to allow the baby to reach 28 weeks gestation, when
they will deliver the baby via C-section. She has been informed by her
baby-related doctors that the chemo is very strong and particularly
attacks DNA growth in cells and therefore the baby. They are quite
certain that there will be neurological damage to the baby, although the
ultrasounds have thus far showed relatively normal growth. Additionally,
her cancer-related doctors have told her that they do not want her to
stop her treatment of cancer (even for 10 wks!) because her cancer is so
aggressive. They said that if they allowed her to carry the baby to 40
weeks gestation, she would probably not live to deliver the baby. So,
Stacey is choosing to give her child a chance and risk her own life. I
still cannot believe the situation that this family has been put in,
even as I type this. As a member of Stacey's network of support and
prayers, I am asking that you specifically say a prayer to Pope John
Paul II. He is in the process of being named a saint and needs a second
miracle to "qualify" for sainthood. We have decided to storm heaven
with prayers to our former Pope, specifically asking him to stop the
growth of Stacey's cancer while she stops her treatment. Many of you may
also be calling to mind the story of
St. Gianna Molla, whom JPII canonized
in the 1994, whose story is very similar to Stacey's.…I appreciate the
time you took to read this and say a prayer for Stacey, her unborn child
and her family. Stacey herself asks that we be sure to pray for her
husband, Joey who is truly heartbroken.”

behalf of her friends, Ann and Jan: "I have a personal favor to ask of you, (knowing you're
praying people). IVORY is 7 years old and she was riding her
go cart without a helmet and lost control landing her under a neighbor's doublewide that didn't have skirting. She was stopped by the floor and
support beam by her neck. She slashed her neck from her ear to her
larynx, cutting her thyroid. Her jugular was torn slightly causing the
blood to drain into her lungs, which then collapsed. She broke her neck
and her back. She was air lifted to MUSC. She has had one operation on her
lower back and they found her spinal cord to be totally cut. They have
to wait to operate on her larynx, thyroid and neck. Not
knowing until then if her spinal cord is torn at the neck, which will
tell to what extent she will be paralyzed.
This little girl is only 7 years old and has her whole
life to live. I ask you to lift her up to God in prayer. We all know what
God can do when we only have faith and come together
in unity. She is such a little girl. This accident just breaks my heart.

sees him often, but when he was young he would often talk bad about me
to him and expose him to bad video games and movies. When I got married,
it was evident to all that were there that we has withdrawn and unhappy.
This mentality has continued for years now. It is now become a very big
burden on my entire family. We caught him doing drugs and stealing from
a store, etc. (this has all happened within the last 2+ months.) My
husband and I are suffering extensively. Our home is filled with
hostility and tension. My son is counseling now, and we have dedicated a
lot of time to him and put him in several activities to help him focus
on positive things. However, I feel that this child is filled with anger
and hatred. He does love God and is a fairly good student. I know that
things can always get worse, (which I am soo afraid of), but I am
suffering so much I don't know what to do. Since I had this child and am
continuously trying to do the best I can, but I don't know what to do. I
am in desperate need of prayers for everyone in my family especially my
son and husband. My house is not a home right now. All I would love for
Christmas from now till the day I die is for my family to love one
another and for this anger and tension to leave all of us. I pray for
this too. And I pray that my son becomes friends with a good boy that
