She was recently diagnosed with stage 2b melanoma. She had the lesion removed on 12/15 and a sentinel node biopsy showed a microscopic tumor in a lymph node, which she had removed Jan19th. Please pray for her complete healing and no further evidence of cancer. Initially, we were told she might also need a year-long regimen of (highly toxic) interferon therapy, but now her doctors say that may not be the case. Dear Lord, please let that be true! Please grant her health without needing this toxic treatment! Some prayers have been answered. My mother’s surgery on the 19th was a success, and she’s home recuperating. But there is now another obstacle: a CT scan showed a very small lesion on her lung. It might be from the melanoma, but it might also be something completely benign (such as scaring from an infection, pneumonia, pollution, a cyst). She’ll have a PET scan soon to determine what it is. Please pray that it’s not cancer. It just can’t be more cancer. It can’t have metastasized. I’m praying to St Peregrine, St Jude, and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. “My dear Sisters and Brothers, Thank you for your loving prayer support. Yes God has taken authority over M.’s drinking problem. Medically he has been banned from alcohol, so Praise the Lord for His wonderful Love and Mercy. With regard to his wife and the son M. has made a police entry as the boy has left home because of the drug issue nearly two months ago. So I bring this need into your hands that you may pray for the police officers who are handling this case, that they be led and guided by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, and there will be no undue interference in the carrying out of their duties. M.’s hospital discharge sheet says ’Hypertension due to stress and multi factoral reasons.’ His wife and her family are trying to cover up the drug issue, so please pray that the police will put everything right. My younger brother D. and his wife continue in their arrogant and haughty ways. They seemed to be over-confident that they don’t need people, D. continues to be very nasty and rude to my mum and me, but we remain silent and ask God to intervene and humble him. Poor Mum. Finally, praise the Lord, after months of struggle I have commenced my CD recording and most of the music and sound tracks have been done. I have to complete the singing and the voicing. My Mum who is herself in and whom I had to take to the physician yesterday was at home with him, had to take him to the hospital. M.’s wife K. who is supporting and covering up for her son R. who is hooked on drugs, has now decided that she is moving out of the house breaking up the family. Instead of supporting her husband to correct the boy, she and her family are encouraging the son. This conflict is now taking a lot out of my brother as he is disturbed over K.’s move, backed by her family who are providing shelter for the boy and his friends. M.’s two very young daughters (one being a minor) are also being brainwashed that their brother is right and the father is wrong for correcting him because the father is considered ‘old fashioned.’ K. is unconcerned and totally indifferent that M. is admitted to hospital.. Please pray for Divine Intervention to bring her down to her knees and realize that as a mother and wife she is wrong. Please please pray that he will be all right, and that the Lord will use this as a turning point in M.’s life to bring him to encounter Jesus. May it open K.’s eyes too. Dear Friends, I HUMBLY beg your prayers for the following four intentions: Please forgive me for troubling you. 1. The Lord answered our prayers and brought my brother M. to his knees, as he realized how much he hurt Mum and he has made a good confession, just before Christmas after many many years, (nearly twenty or more), and he received Holy Communion, and continues to do so. However, please pray that Salvation will come upon this family. Please uphold M.’s family, and make his wife and children especially R. to see the light and truth. His wife K. and children too are far from God. Only God can put them right. I request prayers for M.’s son R., who is addicted to marijuana. He is involved with very bad friends and plays in a rock band. The rest of the band members are heavily into it and they introduced him to it. My nephew fell out with my brother over this drug issue, and has left home over a month. My sister-in-law, K. is covering up for the son, and has not been speaking to my brother for over a month. M. is still a heavy drinker. Please surrender his weak nature and urge for alcohol so that God may set him free by the wounds of Jesus. 2. I also ask prayers for my second brother, D. and his wife, V., who sets up my brother against my Mum and the rest of our family. D.’s wife is expecting their second baby soon. Mum is deeply hurt by his indifference and arrogance towards her, and he ignores her totally together with V. even at family and social gatherings, though they talk to everyone else, greatly encouraged by V. Mum is a kidney patient who is also having high blood pressure and blood sugar. So these things make her more sick as she has no peace of mind, and she is 79 years old. Please pray hard the mighty hand of God will crush and destroy the arrogance and pride of D., and V. will stop setting up my brother against Mum and the family, and that D. will realize how much he has hurt Mum and also the brains to think that he should not be misled by his wife, who is a great schemer who sets him up and behaves like a mouse pretending she knows nothing. Our family was once so close and caring for each, concerned, and loving. V. has destroyed everything through her selfishness. She is an only child, and does not know what a family is. Our attempts to be nice and caring towards her has been met with cold indifference. 3. I also ask prayers for my husband W. He is a very hard-working man, and I know his office is making full use of him, but he doesn’t seem to see through it. My telling him falls on deaf ears. Now the Management has a plan where certain colleagues who are disappointed over the hierarchy want to leave and form their own company and want W. to join them, and they are being very nice to my husband, and are putting him forward. There are regular meetings, which end up in drinking parties. With so much struggle, I managed to get him out of regular club life, bad friends and drinking habits, and become a more family-conscious man. I don’t know if this new venture is God’s plan or not. Please pray for us, that if this is going to disturb our family peace, God takes my husband out of this project. I am not interested in big money. I want a happy Christ-filled family life. This new plan could be an evil enticement to break up our family. Please pray for us! 4. And also for my music ministry for an anointing of the Holy Spirit on me and my CD project, which I am struggling to get it off the ground in time as a thanksgiving, which I want to give Jesus on my 50th Birthday on the 4th of April. There’s so much obstruction I am facing to start it. Thank you all so much for your great prayer ministry. May God anoint you more and more, and fill your communities with more anointed vocations. This is my prayer for you. God Bless you all, If it is not a bother I would be deeply grateful if you could please get a print out of this and place it under the Altar cloth, so that by through the Intervention of Mother Mary and St. Joseph, Jesus may touch us, cleanse us, and deliver us setting us free, during Holy Mass. Now nursing home is saying he became private pay last month he was there. They never told me that he was private pay—he had 2 insurances. They have placed me in probate court. I went to Human Resources (my employer) who talked to them and told them they should have submitted bills to our insurance and Medicare and it would be paid in full as were the 3 months before. He was there because he needed rehab and dialysis. There was no place close to home for dialysis. Please pray for this intention. I’m not only grieving but desperate with this situation that F. attorneys drop probate court case and any case against me; that they soon send me letter telling me that probate court hearing is cancelled; that nursing home resubmit bills to Medical Mutual and Medicare and that this debt be paid off in full soon by these insurances. It’s only been almost a year but there are some concerns where I don’t feel he is being genuine. I feel some things are starting to come to light but my children have connected with him and I don’t want to feel like I am being too picky being that I myself am not perfect. I just want confirmation that I am not settling thus making my boys settle. One of the main things I am concerned about is that Derrick told me after we got involved that he is not yet divorced. He said that because he is in the middle of a bankruptcy that this is what is holding up his divorce. His legal wife has filed for divorce in September and he responded to her answer but she has not followed up on the next step. This bankruptcy seems to have holes in it as well. He is in the middle of a chapter 11 that has been dismissed three times. If he doesn’t get it confirmed this time (meaning it gets dismissed again, then he cannot file anymore) I just feel like God is not pleased with something he has done but I don’t want to be judgmental. Please pray for my strength and wisdom. Thank you so much on behalf of my sons Michael, Gabriel, and Christopher.”
